On Monday 22 February, the UK Government announced that schools and university courses that teach practical subjects can reopen from 8 March. As a result, all CATS Colleges in the UK will resume face-to-face learning as follows:
Chris Stacey, CEO, comments:
"I’m delighted to confirm that face-to-face learning at all our campuses in the UK will shortly resume.
"We are looking forward to welcoming students back to the classroom, where we can provide the best possible academic support, pastoral care and extracurricular activities.
"Although this has been a challenging and disruptive period, it has also brought out the very best within our communities. I’d like to say thank you to our students who have been incredibly resilient over the last year adapting to online learning and the changing environment. I also want to thank staff for their commitment and professionalism throughout the pandemic."
The reopening of schools is part of the UK Government’s plan to cautiously ease restrictions across England and provide a route back to a more normal way of life in the coming weeks.
All international students are advised to review the latest travel guidance both in the UK and in their home countries before making any travel plans.
For international students able to travel, quarantining restrictions remain in place. CATS Colleges will continue to offer a dedicated quarantine service on-campus for students with a full range of care measures in place. Please refer to our #WeCare Pledge and a video on how we are managing welcoming students to campus.
Our other institutions, CATS Academy Boston in the US and Stafford House centres in Canada, remain open as normal.
